Why "The Prophet's Way"?
From my earliest years, I've been on a search for understanding the nature of spiritual reality. In many ways, this
led to my earlier books reframing Attention Deficit Disorder. In the late 1960's, I met an
amazing man in Detroit who healed people with his hands and showed his aura as a
demonstration of the human life force. He was Master Kurt Stanley of the Coptic Order, and
I became a student of his and was ordained in his church. After his death, I met another,
even more amazing man in the northern mountains of Germany. Gottfried Mueller showed me
entirely new ways to view, live, and work in the world, and is at the core of this book.
Ultimately, The Prophet's Way is about how to "save the world." In order to do
that, however, one must first rediscover one's self, and the specific how-to techniques
and views to accomplish that are included in this book. Enjoy!

A book about spiritual renewal in a dying world...
"This is the most important book I have ever read -- a deeply disturbing
surprise. Terrifyingly topical; strangely transcendental and timeless; profound, engaging,
delightful, informative; dreadful, desolating, devastating, threatening, unhinging, and
irritating -- I would I could evade its awful truth. Now I can do no less than give my
remaining years to its message." -- Joseph Chilton Pearce, author of Crack in the
Cosmic Egg and Evolution's End
"At the edge of chaos, scientists have
discovered, the tiniest of inputs or actions can generate massive changes -- what's called
the Butterfly Effect. In this marvelous, true-life spiritual adventure story Thom Hartmann
makes his fractal pilgrim's progress along the edge of chaos -- social, political,
psychological and spiritual -- and discovers that it's there that we experience life most
intensely and awaken most fully to the presence of God -- and where even our most humble
and secret actions, in a sort of divine butterfly effect, can transform the world.
Hartmann describes his own life-tested practical techniques for keeping yourself on the
edge, waking up to authentic life and the divine presence, and charging your daily actions
with world-changing power. This is the real stuff. The Prophet's Way produces its own
butterfly effect: the simple act of reading it can change your life." -- Michael
Hutchison, author of MegaBrain and The Anatomy of Sex & Power
"The Prophets Way draws you in like
a novel, keeping you on the edge waiting to see what happens next, yet is a true story.
Like a painting by a great master that was painted over and hidden for centuries, Thom
Hartmann peels away the layers of distortion heaped on original visions of religion and
faith which existed 2,000 years ago, revealing once again the essence of humanity,
spirituality, and mysticism. This book helped me make a major change in my life for the
better."-- Rob Kall, M.Ed. Co-author, Biofeedback Theory & Practice; President,
FUTUREHEALTH Inc.
"The PROPHET'S WAY is the thought
provoking story of a man trying to live by spiritual values. We need accounts like these
because they direct us toward compassion and consciousness." -- John Robbins, author
of Diet for a New America and Reclaiming Our Health
"Thom Hartmann is an absolutely original mind,
with an original way of looking at the world: he has made an enormous contribution to our
culture." -- Owen Lipstein, Editor-in-Chief, Psychology Today and Mother Earth News

The Last Hours
of Ancient Sunlight: Waking up to personal and global transformation

The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight is about danger and hope.
We're facing a time of
extraordinary transition on the planet, as our oil supply is about half exhausted, our
population has gone from 1 billion in 1800 to nearly 6 billion today, and we're wiping out
other species at an alarming rate.
Yet how did this happen? Why us, and why now? And
what will this knowledge tell us about what can be done about it? Is it possible to not
only "save the world," but to even make it a better place both for humans and
other life forms?
In this book, I explore these issues in depth. I
welcome your feedback!
This book was recommended by Neale Donald Walsch as
one of the 8 most important books at this time in the Appendix of Conversations with
God 3.
Beyond ADD : Hunting for Reasons in the Past
& Present
Learn how ADD-related traits have served to further human evolution. Author
Thom Hartmann spotlights how modern life contributes to ADD, including a toxic
environment, nutritional deficiencies, our quick-fix consumer culture, and the effects of
television and overpopulation. Hartmann also documents the difficulties gifted children
encounter in our educational system, and the hardships visual learners encounter in an
auditory environment. As he discusses brain chemistry and physiology, he examines the pros
and cons of the controversial drug Ritalin.
From the Publisher
Thom Hartmann is a pioneer in ADD research. His previous books have shown how
individuals with ADD are not just "hyperactive" or "easily
distracted," but actually possess highly adaptive, entrepreneurial skills - traits
which served ancient hunters but meet with resistance in modern agrarian societies. His
theory was profiled in Time magazine.
